Ball Abutments act as a support for a full or partial denture, existing or new. The system offers a simple methodology and precision placement. The attachment system comes in two material options, Titanium and Gold. Indications – For use on two implants in the mandible and up to four implants in the maxilla, and divergence between implants less than 10°. Accurate and predictable retention – The Retention Female (part of the Titanium Housing) engages the entire male for increased retention and an audible ‘click’ as it seats over the male. Flexible and simple – Various retention levels are available and are easily adjusted. For the Titanium Housing, three different retention levels are available. The retention in the Gold Housing is easily adjusted utilising Activating and Deactivating tools. Low and narrow design – The low and narrow Housing designs require minimal space and allow for flexible denture creations. Favorable angulation - Favorable angulation can be an issue when using attachments. Access Ball Abutment offers an elegant and unique solution to this problem. Wear is minimized by adjusting the angulation of the implants to 10, 20 or 30° for improved seating and removability. Wear resistant – The divergence forgiving designs and large engaging surfaces allow for enhanced wear resistance compared to other systems.
