As a glass ionomer cement, it features good chemical adhesion and biocompatibility. It bonds to enamel, dentine, non-precious metals, and porcelain. The glass-ionomer cement is suitable for cementing all types of crowns, inlays, onlays, bridges, endodontic posts, and orthodontic bands. It can also be used for amalgam bonding and as a liner.
